Letter from Our Editor
Hello, Beautiful People!
Welcome to another edition of SHE TEA, where the conversations are real, the questions aren't always comfortable, and the truth is never watered down to make it easier to swallow!
And honey, this edition? We're pouring some strong tea!
As we close out 2026, here's a question worth pondering: Are you living the life God called you to live, or the life others expect you to live?
This edition challenges us to examine our faith, choices, relationships, and personal convictions.
We're exploring God's Permissive Will versus His Perfect Will, because permission isn't necessarily approval. In "When Love Hurts," we're confronting painful relationships and reminding ourselves that forgiveness doesn't automatically mean restored access.
We're "Spilling the Tea About 3" remarkable biblical women, examining whether we're pursuing a soft life or a surrendered life, and looking beyond the jewelry to the sacrifice behind "The Cross I Wear."
And then there's our cover declaration: "I'm My Own Amen!"
Now, that's not arrogance or independence from God. It's the confidence to stand on His Word without needing everybody else's applause or approval. My Amen doesn't mean I'm always right; it means I'm committed to aligning my life with the One who is!
Romans 12:2 reminds us that transformation begins with renewing our minds. And sometimes that means challenging our assumptions, admitting our mistakes, and finding the courage to grow.
My hope is that these pages make you laugh a little, think a lot, question a few things, and strengthen your determination to live authentically and faithfully.
So grab your favorite cup, settle in, and enjoy! The tea is hot, the conversations are honest, and the truth? Honey, it doesn't need any additives!
With love, faith, and a little holy boldness,
Deborah Ocasio
